My Journey in Technology

In my journey, I’ve learned that technology is only as powerful as the people who use it. My passion for helping others navigate the digital world began in college, where I found myself simplifying technical concepts for my peers, many of whom were encountering these ideas for the first time. This early experience taught me the importance of meeting people where they are—understanding their unique needs, challenges, and levels of familiarity with technology.

My career took me from enhancing network performance in a small eCommerce business to mastering the intricacies of telecommunications at Verizon. There, I honed my skills in troubleshooting complex DWDM networks and training cross-functional teams. But my true calling emerged when I discovered Salesforce, a platform that allowed me to blend my technical expertise with business optimization and people management. This realization propelled me into a role where I could drive operational efficiency while focusing on the human side of technology adoption.

As a systems thinker with a deep sense of empathy, I believe that technology should empower, not overwhelm. I’ve seen too many large initiatives falter because they didn’t consider the diverse starting points of their users. My approach is different—I strive to make technology relatable and accessible for everyone, from older generations and neurodiverse individuals to those who simply don’t consider themselves "tech-savvy."

The Vision - Bridging the Digital Divide—One Tech at a Time

At Ally in Tech, my vision is clear: to be a guide and leader who ushers others through the ever-evolving landscape of technology. In a world where there’s often an assumption that everyone has a base understanding of digital tools, I see the gaps—and I’m determined to fill them. Whether it’s helping a small business owner integrate new software, guiding an organization through a complex technology upgrade, or simply explaining how a tool can make daily tasks easier, I’m committed to being the bridge that connects people to the solutions they need.

I envision a future where technology is not a barrier but a catalyst for positive change in both work and personal lives. This means creating tailored solutions that are not only effective but also easy to adopt and use. By focusing on the unique needs of each individual and organization, I aim to close the digital divide and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to thrive in the digital age.
